Want to work in the online digital arena? Our client, a leader in location-based marketing, is seeking a Content Writer on a contract to hire basis. This individual would be sitting out of our client's Anaheim, CA headquarters.

We are looking for candidates with a great attitude who can take charge and run in a fast paced environment. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is seeking a career in the digital marketing space.

Summary
The Content Writer will be responsible for data and the brand's production of written marketing material. The content writer must have an in-depth understanding of the digital marketing field and hence responsible for delivering insights and trends through content. The Content Writer is responsible for keeping up with the most current and updates digital marketing, e-commerce, web analytics, email marketing, search marketing, and social media success metrics in order to understand how content affects the success of these pieces. Must have the ability to understand statistical data and develop content which delivers a concise, clear and insightful business case that both us and our clients can use to plan and execute new strategies/and or see value in digital marketing.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
• Write, edit and curate digital news, stories, blogs, and any other relevant company.
• Monitor wire feeds, social media, industry blogs and any other relevant content that pushes forward the brand as thoughts leaders
• Understand SEO tactics, best practices and techniques and create rich SEO driven content across various channels for our brand

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge on SEO and SEM
• Knowledge of industry top players, bloggers, and terminologies
• Strong written and oral skills
• Technical aptitude (HTML Knowledge, basic level)
• Ability to understand and conduct research for projects
• Written ability to convey complex topics into a digestible manner

Education & Work Experience Required
• B.A in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of work experience.
• Mush have 2-4 years writing experience as part of employment history
• Must have knowledge of multiple social media sites and digital marketing industry
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must have strong project management skills
• Must have experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
