Marketing Content Writer

Our client (located in Redlands) is looking for a passionate writer who search to reveal the who, what, when, why, how—and most important, the where—to the world. They need creative, inspired, hard-working communications professionals who can apply their love and mastery for the written word in both traditional and inbound marketing. Their content team incorporates the power of storytelling throughout multiple distribution channels including web, blogs, case studies, social, video, and more. People around the world are succeeding with the company's product and their stories need to be told. You’ll be challenged. You’ll be stimulated. And you’ll make a difference.

Responsibilities:
• Create amazing web content that promotes how customers are using products and profoundly connects with target audiences
• Write and edit blog posts, press releases, case studies, brochures, white papers, emails, direct marketing pieces, and other collateral
• Help develop strategy and deliver copy for campaigns that support marketing, branding, and positioning and move prospects to customers, and customers to evangelists
• Collaborate with designers and other Marketing teams to establish and drive authentic, consistent, and compelling messaging across multiple channels
• Use social media such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and blogs and podcasts to develop communities and deliver targeted messaging

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or higher in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or English
• Five+ years of experience as a writer, public relations professional, marketing communications specialist, journalist, or editor
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent project management and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Be personally motivated, a creative thinker, and a team player

This is a long-term (6 months) temp assignment with the potential to go full-time. You must be available to work onsite.
