Marketing Consultant

We are seeking Marketing consultants who bring strong experience working and are seeking a contract role for the next 3+months. This role would be involved with creating and executing marketing programs to increase awareness and preference, driving top line revenue growth, cross sell and retention across related product lines. Additionally, the Consultant would be involved in planning and executing Communications and Marketing efforts.

Responsibilities could include:

-Develop and implement differentiated marketing strategies

-Examine sales results and determine why growth is occurring by: product, geography, customer attributes and behavioral drivers.

-Apply understanding of customer research, market analysis and customer capabilities to identify targeted segments that are best positioned to sustain and grow business.

-Determine the attributes and price points that influence purchase decisions and which variables create the greatest likelihood of purchase.

-Create and implement marketing plans that identifies and prioritizes critical strategic opportunities and focuses on activities that will provide the highest return. Works with marketing departments to ensure efforts align with local strategies; messages are translated locally while maintaining integrity of the original message.

-Designs, leads and implements enterprise/cross-functional projects. Address business problems, identifies, drives and implements results. Installs best practices including continuous improvement activity to achieve efficiency and deliver on segment goals. Accountable for managing project pipelines, business cases, budget, vendor relationships and compliance.

-Build influence through credibility by applying data analytics, client management, and business consultation.

-Actively manage and measure activities by establishing real-time control groups, testing parameters and measuring effectiveness to determine and adjust approach.

Qualified candidates will have the following experience:
-7+ years of strategic marketing experience
-Health care experience desired
-B2B and experience marketing to mid-sized businesses preferred
-Direct to consumer experience a plus
-Proven ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations – in a highly regulated industry
-Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and aligned to strategy
-Creates constructive tension by challenging thinking and providing unique insights
-Proven client management and leadership skills
-Builds relationships and manages interactions with clients, including senior business leaders, brokers, and third party vendors
-Demonstrated ability to translate and evangelize business goals and processes to internal and external audiences
-Strong influencing skills
-Strong presence with ability to communicate organizational needs, both internally and externally, and positively influence in a matrix organization
-Executive communication skills (verbal and written) to present marketing concepts, marketing plans, and results to internal and external senior audiences
-Outstanding ability to multi-task and manage priorities
-Outstanding creative eye and experience evaluating new product/market ideas in a highly dynamic market
-Proven ability to synthesize data into summarized concepts for internal and external audiences
-Builds trust by demonstrating high ethical standards and personal integrity
-Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
