Our Fortune 500 Financial Services client is looking for a Marketing Consultant to help them on the Credit Card division. This is a 10-month contractor assignments.

Job Title: Credit Card Marketing Campaign Manager

Position Overview

The selected candidate is responsible for coordinating, supporting, and executing various marketing campaigns for Discover’s affinity credit card programs in the US. This function will work with marketing production teams, copywriters and graphic designers, I/T teams, and marketing channel managers to create, produce, and implement credit card solicitation programs thru direct mail, tabling, and digital marketing efforts. This person will also help with various reporting, analysis, and tracking activities to measure and optimize marketing effectiveness.


- Work on new customer acquisition marketing campaigns to promote new Discover Card partnerships and solicit customers for credit card applications.
- Coordinate creative, production, and service elements of marketing campaigns to test and execute customer solicitation strategies.
- Ensure proper tracking and measurement of marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Interact and communicate directly with production, technology, and operations business partners to ensure accurate and timely implementation of marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate efforts throughout the organization to ensure alignment and resources from all business areas.
- Identify and avoid obstacles, troubleshoot and resolve issues


- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, including at management level
- Ability to quickly learn new marketing, production, and technical processes
- Technical, process and analytical thinking skills
- Extreme attention and focus on detail
- Manage time, expectations, multitask, and handle stress
- Work autonomously and in a cross-functional environment
- Deal with ambiguity, manage individual priorities and anticipate business partner expectations
- Ability to construct detailed written operational and technical requirements using Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- At least 2+ years in a marketing role (with direct response marketing or within the Finance, Banking or Credit Card industry a plus)
