Marketing Communications Specialist (Agency Background)

As a Marketing Comm Specialist you are:
Responsible for the development of long term relationship with assigned business units to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in the production of email marketing. Serves as the primary interface in the execution of multi-media advertising. Is the primary agencies’ contact and is fully accountable for advertising execution from planning turnover until release for execution.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Takes receipt of content that meets allocation requirements across all BU advertising vehicles from BU marketing planning.
-Responsible lead for content turnover to agency(ies).
-Manages and facilitates daily workflow of communications, detail confirmation and continual linkages between internal and external resources.
-Monitors and reports against timeliness score carding.
-Weekly review of production stages: Concept Alignment, Confirmation Proof and Final Review.
-Sets agendas, documents change, reviews/approves campaign targeting, manages discussion flow and realizes continuing positive outcome.
-Manages flow of creative assets including procurement and timely execution.
-Manages all production process deadlines and enforces delinquency penalties.
-Identify improvements to production processes and tools that can be institutionalized across the Direct marketing organization.
-Develops business unit-specific insights through an understanding of BU objectives.
-Is a positive role model for solution-driven relationships with agencies, internal teams and business teams.
-Handles special projects, as assigned.
