Marketing Communications Specialist

The marketing communications specialist will support the strategic marketing team in the execution of marketing activities. This is a multi-faceted role supporting marketing and communications efforts for a fast-paced team.


Responsibilities

● Attend cross-functional marketing meetings as directed by the marketing leads
● Support the marketing leads along with project management to manage/coordinate marketing activities, including product catalog development.
● Circulate and proof marketing pieces including -- emails, creative briefs, brochures, banners, magazine ads, outbound e-mails, etc.
● Assist marketing leads with management of content marketing plan and channel / campaign metrics, analyzing campaign performance and identifying opportunities based on campaign outcomes.
● Assist marketing leads with reports for campaign and marketing activities across segments and portfolios.
● Develop and write bi-weekly communications to stakeholders
● Support conference and event planning.
● Process invoices and support overall communication efforts as needed.


Qualifications

● BA/BS degree in Marketing or equivalent discipline
● Minimum 4 years experience in marketing and communications
● Communications, marketing, and journalism background
● Outstanding written and oral communication skills
● Strong project management, organizational and analytical skills
● Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy
● Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
● Experience with campaign metrics – setup, analysis and communication – preferred.
