Marketing Communications Consultant-

Onsite position based in Bridgewater NJ.

Due to recent organizational and strategic changes the Marketing Communication team has become challenged in maintaining the volume of marketing and communication requests. We are asking for one marketing temp who will assist the team with routine marketing and communication projects.

Responsibilities include:
Market Place:
1. Evaluation and comparison of existing marketing materials for Life and Disability products to determine which pieces need to be updated, consolidated or removed from circulation
2. Application of specific criteria to determine if existing marketing materials proactively achieve segment and product goals
3. Track metrics on existing and new materials and provide a monthly usage report
4. Evaluate materials frequently used, and are determined to be “successful,” in order to document best practices that should be incorporated into future materials
5. Work with document owners to identify, update or consolidate marketing materials through a thoughtfully developed plan drafted by the temp
6. Build and maintain marketing calendar and project plan that operationalizes the process of maintaining Market Place
Writing and Material Development:
7. Write and edit compelling, go-to-market, messaging based on technical information provided by segment and product marketing
8. Launch finalized marketing materials through a variety of marketing channels
Skills required:
1. 5+ years professional experience with proven track record in developing highly effective product positioning, messaging, sales presentations and marketing content for B2B audience
2. Ability to translate technical information into copy that is between the 5th-9th grade reading level
3. Experience with the production of marketing communication materials (e.g., sell sheets, brochures, presentations, emails, kits, operational guidelines, folders)
4. Experience with the launch of marketing communications through a variety of marketing channels (e.g., email, direct mail, online, call center)
5. Understanding/experience in effective graphic design and branding principles
6. Highly effective communication skills with outstanding writing, editing and presentation abilities
7. Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a dynamic environment
8. Financial services experience preferred
9. Professional presence and ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization including remote areas/locations
10. Dedicated team player who proactively helps others
11. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe
