Our client is looking for a Marketing Communication Specialist to join their team on a contract basis.

Description:
This position develops marketing campaigns in alignment with corporate objectives. This includes, but is not limited to, working on an interdepartmental basis to determine campaign objectives, positioning product to best communicate corporate/sales objectives and writing, designing and distributing highly persuasive and creative marketing copy through digital and print channels. The Marketing Communications Specialist must demonstrate strong persuasive writing skills, strong digital layout design skills and be an overall expert in digital and print marketing. The Marketing Communications Specialist must present information in an appealing, informative, concise and easy to understand manner. They must remain up to date on the latest advances in digital media. They must demonstrate strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, possess a strong sense of responsibility and urgency and be self-motivated and flexible. This person must be extremely detail-oriented, able to multi-task effectively, take initiative and function well under pressure. Additionally, the person must be available to work an extended schedule, including weekends and evenings according to the demands of his/her workload.

Essential Functions:
• Creates marketing campaigns to increase sales leads and boost interest in speakers according to departmental and company sales goals.
• Create, design and write wide range of copy for all promotional materials including but not limited to: new product announcements, product copy for website, bios, speech descriptions, direct mail and other print materials, digital campaigns as related to topic areas or as assigned.
• Ensure all communication materials are grammatically correct, formatted according to department style guide, and in compliance with laws governing anti-SPAM regulations, registered and trademark symbols, country of origin and material construction.

The specific skill sets / responsibilities our client is looking for are:
• Highly creative professional for writing email campaigns (specifically with B to B experience)--with video links
• Combination of persuasive writing skills with the ability to create a layout to capture audience's attention in an email campaign
• Should be aware of the latest design standards
• Should be able to offer suggestions to redesign or make suggestions/tweak the current templates
• No external client contact, talent will work closely with VP of Marketing
• Award winning copy accomplishments or award winning Creative/Design/Layout
• At least four years’ experience in B2B digital mail campaigns
• A bachelor’s degree and four to eight years of experience in the field or a related area
• Strong persuasive writing and editing experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
