Marketing Communications Specialist

The Marketing Communications Specialist will coordinate the development of print, advertising and other collateral materials to promote the company to physicians and new member patients. Managing day-to-day operational and marketing coordination activities and special projects, the MarCom Specialist will develop project plans, schedules and budgets; manage MarCom vendors and related contracting; and coordinate with other departments and staff to implement and execute promotional materials.


Responsibilities:

• Provides MarCom support for marketing and business development initiatives

• Liaises with all physician groups as the main point of contact for marketing

• Develops and maintains master calendar of production deadlines and deliveries

• Coordinates and collaborates with the Communications staff to assure efficient use of resources for development of materials, selection of designers, photographers, video producers, web developers, etc.

• Supervises vendors related to development, production and distribution of collateral

• Builds ongoing, effective relationships within the organization, as well as with business partners and vendors

• Processes vendor contracts according to policies and reviews invoices for payment

• Coordinates acquisition of mailing lists and serves as department contact with mailing houses

• Participates in weekly team meetings, reporting on activities
• Collaborates with Communications to prepare and provide responses to press inquiries

Qualifications:
• Work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external customers, varying in seniority and work experiences

• Work individually or with a team to drive marketing campaigns from concept through completion including budget, timeline and vendor management

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills to work effectively with peers, management, physicians, nurses and SHC management

• Develop and maintain internal operational procedures, processes, and measurement tools that support marketing communications efforts

• Work effectively in a matrix organization

• Experience with development of executive presentations, speeches, and written communications
