We are seeking a consultant to support our client's marketing team for a short-term 3-4 month contract. The Marketing Communications Specialist will provide the execution and support of marketing materials development. The role is part of the Account Management team within the client’s internal agency and works within the overall account strategy, focusing on messaging, as well as, multi-faceted campaigns. You will be asked to be highly collaborative, partnering with Creative, Product and Sales teams as well as various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and flawless delivery of the materials.
Work with Product Managers to understand Product positioning statements for use in marketing communications planning and execution. Work with existing Marketing Communications Plans, to create Project Proposals and Creative Briefs supporting client and customer communications, including collaboration with subject matter experts and other matrix partners. Ensure messaging aligns with the product positioning, the brand, customer focus and other objectives as appropriate. Identify critical opportunities to communicate to internal audiences and provide editing/ review support to ensure consistency of messaging. Initiate projects with Creative Services, and support the development of production schedules and budget estimates to meet project requirements. Provide additional information via Kickoff Meetings to enable copywriters, designers, illustrators and creative vendors to create and execute on concepts and messaging. Secure final sign-offs from subject matter experts, project owners and compliance/legal team. Collaborate effectively across functional areas to optimize and leverage programs where opportunities exist. Provide ongoing project updates to management and internal clients. Manage project execution within the budget. Identify opportunities for continual improvement in agency value. Collaborate with appropriate agency team members to validate and implement improvements.
