Job Responsibilities:Leads all assigned U.S. Marketing Communication support for multiple brands.
Drive the Marketing Communications work flow process from project initiation through asset delivery with emphasis on process adherence and collaboration with marketing team and agencies in support of brand strategy. Work with internal and external design resources to meet marketing objectives in a timely, cost-efficient and best in class creative manner. Drive regional consistency across global launches, facilitate best practice sharing and execute cost saving and standardization measures.
Scope of Business Managed:
Oversees Marketing Communication advisement and support to other regions in support of new products launches and commercialization efforts.
Manages Marketing Services and brand project budgets.
Manages agency relationships & work deliverables.
Key interface to brand and channel marketing groups.
Central point of contact to design resources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive all assigned projects on-time, on-budget and to scope.
Schedule priorities of projects and determine appropriate resource allocation.
Evaluate and interpret creative briefs to ensure design resource understands and interprets the brief appropriately to deliver on project objectives.
Execute and manage in-store (packaging and POP display), on-line and collateral marketing communications, guidelines and file access system for regional support while communicating and distributing globally.
Define most effective tools/communications vehicles.
Drive regional consistency across global launches.
Launch and manage global best practice sharing processes and tools.
Act as a liaison between the regions and respond to requests, resolve issues, and solve problems that contribute to growth in the global business.
Ensure the flow of all communication among project initiators and design resource, adhering to project deadline, budgets, specifications and availability of all project materials.
Manage project budgets on behalf of the brand and channel marketing teams.
Undergraduate degree in business administration / marketing, or related field.
Equivalent experience considered.
Strong understanding of integrated marketing planning approach.
Highly organized and very strong, proven project management skills.
Working knowledge of graphic design software, terminology & requirements.
Ability to develop solid business plans, including financial analysis.
Self-starter and able to work both independently and in team environment.
Adept at creative thinking and problem solving.
Persuasive and able to succinctly communicate ideas.
Works independently with initiative and self managed deadlines.
Excellent and proven communication skills with emphasis, written and verbal.
Strong key account management skills to include negotiation skills.
Well organized and able to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
Experience working cross functionally and in a matrixed organization.
Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Familiar with MS Project.
Significant knowledge of international environment, cultural, and trade issues.
Ability to identify best practices in one region and apply and communicate effectively and efficiently to other regions.
