Marketing Communications (Project Manager)

One of our valued clients is seeking a Marketing Communications Project Manager for a long term temporary role.

In this role, the candidate will project manage/execute global communication programs that support sales, marketing and business objectives for a specific business unit within this company.

Specific responsibilities include driving projects and programs that build preference for the company over the competition and move prospects through the design cycle for long-term relationships and sales.
Programs include:
o Creation and execution of the business unit's presence at key tradeshows and events, including strategy, messaging, cross-business unit coordination and overall event management.
o Execution of video program including creative development, translations and cross-business coordination
o Ownership of metrics gathering and analysis
o Ownership of budget process (with team manager) including forecasting and managing financial resources
o Marcom program management including new product introductions, advertising, Web pages, promotional collateral, direct mail, seminars, internal communications and training programs.
o All programs must be coordinated with international counterparts.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of marketing and/or communications experience, preferably in high-technology. The ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously and drive for results is required for success.

Strong teaming skills and excellent verbal/written communications skills, accompanied by strong sense of organization and the ability to establish and observe priorities, are required for this role. Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills required.

The person in this position must be able to influence and manage multiple people/vendors without direct reporting and effectively manage competing priorities.

The ability to coordinate with cross-business units, international market communications and media relations counterparts, as well as internal/external vendors, is a must.
