Marketing Communications Manager: financial

Our financial services client located in downtown Boston is looking for a Marketing Communications Manager for a 6-9 month contract assignment. This is a full-time onsite position with a great company!

DAY-TO-DAY:

- Develop, edit and execute marketing collateral, communications, meeting and event initiatives and presentations tailored to DCIO, RIA and other intermediary audiences.
- Project manage multiple marketing initiatives to promote client’s products and services that support mainly the DCIO and RIA intermediary channels.
- Process marketing material through MRM design and AdTrax compliance systems for necessary development, updates and compliance approvals. Support DCIO and RIA channel sales managers and wholesalers.

General Responsibilities Include:

- Supports communications, training and marketing efforts to drive the implementation of marketing strategies and sales objectives for client.
- Coordinates project plan for marketing and communication efforts as well as general project management support.
- Coordinate the development of marketing materials for specific programs designed to increase plan count, reduce refunds, and educate advisors about new processes/products by working closely with product development, implementation and training.
- Oversee project plan for marketing and communication efforts as well as general project management support.
- Proofread communications and articles ensuring version control.
- Manage marketing materials and forms including inventory management, content updates and approvals.
- Work with manager and business units to determine event budget and manage expenses to that budget.
- Create thought leadership materials. Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references. Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications.

MUST HAVE Requirements:

* Marketing experience and MRM knowledge is a requirement.
* Well versed in MS office products as well as process for compliance/RP review and approval of sales and marketing material.
* Must be extremely detail-oriented and have the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
* Time management skills needed.
