Marketing Communications Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Marketing Communications Manager with experience in the Technology B2B space. This is a contract to hire position. Our client is motivated to find the right person and can get that person started right away!

The Marketing Communications Manager (MCM) is responsible for increasing market awareness and interest, and customer and partner loyalty and retention, through the development of all content-based marketing and communications plans and activities. The MCM owns customer, community, partner and prospect communications, including web marketing, social media, blogs, advertising, sales tools and outbound marketing. The MCM works cross-functionally with product marketing, business development, sales, and field marketing to develop content for all outward facing communications and materials. Additionally, the MCM works closely with the Customer Success team to strengthen customer satisfaction through nurture campaigns, loyalty programs and customer user group events.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Work with Product and Digital Marketing to create compelling content and messaging for all facets of external Marketing Communications programs and activities.
• Create and manage all aspects of the Marketing Communications plan.
• Develop and manage lead/demand generation programs, including messaging, execution and tracking that continuously improve lead activity volume and quality.
• Develop and manage all content development and content calendar for our client's outbound marketing programs.
• Serve as company social media lead – create and manage social media content calendar and seed content, and optimize social followers across all social media channels.
• Collaborate with internal SMEs on blog content ideation and develop copy for corporate and technical blogs.
• Manage all aspects of story and content development for customer and prospect newsletters.
• Develop, implement and manage customer satisfaction/loyalty marketing program.
• Work with international partners and marketing team counterparts to ensure content can be translated and placed throughout international marketing and communication channels.

Desired skills/experience:
• 7+ years of relevant business marketing communications experience, at least 5+ years in B2B
• Experience writing effective and compelling B2B marketing content for a range of communications vehicles
• Ability to translate technical aspects into customer-centric, value-based copy
• 3+ years of experience in business social media management
• Highly detail-oriented and well organized
• Excellent at handling multiple projects with tight timelines
• Experience working with international teams a plus
