Marketing Communications Manager

The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating and performing a comprehensive review of documents and communications in order to ensure that materials are grammatically correct, well written, and adhere to Corporate brand, style, and health literacy guidelines. Responsible for proofreading and reviewing stakeholder communications in support of our business.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day coordination, management and support of Marketing’s internal quality review process, called Marketing-Brand Review/ SMART
• Manage incoming materials submitted for review
• Proofread, review and edit materials for accurate use of grammar and content; correct any grammatical, typographical, or compositional errors in original copy
• Conduct a review of materials for adherence to Corporate brand, style, and health literacy guidelines; review materials against an internal checklist that promotes adherence to internal branding and quality standards
• Coordinate secondary-level managerial review of materials
• Return feedback/ approvals of materials that have been reviewed
• Keep Marketing Managers and/ or Supervisors informed of status and escalate any critical issues to satisfactory resolution
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders
• Complies will all guidelines established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and guidelines set form by other regulatory agencies, where applicable, and defined in the corporate and department policies
• Assist in coordination and execution of special projects, as assigned by the manager or supervisor
• All other duties, as assigned by the Manager and/ or Supervisor

• Flexible and open to change

Required Experience

• Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in business administration/marketing
• Demonstrated ability to:
• Proofread, review, and edit materials at high proficiency
• Manage daily work-flow and meet defined timelines
• Work in a fast-paced environment; multi-task
• Prior experience in Healthcare Marketing or Communications is a plus
• Personal computer experience should include working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook at the intermediate level at a minimum
