The Marketing Communication Manager will assist in the development and execution of marketing communications tactics. This may include developing creative briefs, production schedules, and budget estimates. Makes recommendations relative to marketing communications strategy and execution. Responsible for developing compliant and compelling marketing materials, brochures, advertisements, sales communications, presentations, web content, e-marketing, and social media. Works closely with key business partners in developing and implementing marketing approaches. Works with print production to ensure most cost-effective methods. Secures final sign-off from subject matter experts, project owners, and legal and compliance. Work closely with copywriters, designers, and agencies.

• BA in Marketing or Business.
• 5+ years of Marketing experience.
• Marketing experience in the financial services industry (experience specifically in banking is a plus); experience meeting the requirements of a highly regulated industry.
• Ability to work with all levels of individuals ranging from branch and field representatives to product managers and senior level executives.
• Strong understanding of marketing channels and ability to orchestrate both one-off needs and comprehensive campaigns with the support of other department team members, in-house talent, agencies, and contractors. Channels may include: Advertising (print, radio, billboard, television, etc.), Email Marketing, Direct Mail, Website, Events, Merchandising, Collateral and public relations.
• Understands the importance of brand value and acts as a brand steward to build brand equity through all marketing channels and activity.
• Experience managing agencies to plan, develop and execute marketing that successfully meets goals.
• Strong tactical and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid writing and editing skills and experience working with copywriters.
• Good design sense with the ability to conceptualize and communicate vision.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a large volume of tasks and projects with hard deadlines. Also requires ability to delegate work load appropriately to internal team members and third party resources.
• Able to interact with legal and compliance authorities for all necessary marketing approvals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have excellent attention to detail and high standards for quality.
• Absolutely must be hands on and detailed oriented.

Nice to have (but not required):
• Marketing experience specifically in the banking industry
• Print production background. Experience in a print production role with bidding, estimating, equipment, sales, etc.
• Graphic design background. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and QuarkXpres.
• Online media design and/or marketing background. Experience or understanding of website design, development, or programming, social media, etc.
• Media buying experience.
