Marketing Communications Manager

The Marketing Communications Manager position will work closely with the Marketing Communications Lead, Audience Marketing teams, Product Management teams, and the Central Marketing Organisation Data, Analytics, Online, SEA, Customer Evidence and Events managers and our agencies to build and execute integrated marketing communications campaigns including e-marketing campaigns, campaign websites, collateral, search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine advertising (SEA), social media and paid media. This includes campaign plan development, managing all creative feedback and approvals, production timelines, and budget and post campaign analysis.
The Marketing Communications Manager will collaborate with several stakeholders across the business in the development of campaigns that will deliver on the business objectives and deliver an optimal customer experience that adheres to Brand and legal review.

Responsible for:
1. Campaign Plan and Execution: Working with Audience teams, the Central Marketing Organisation discipline teams and Agencies to build effective integrated marketing communications campaigns that are aligned to the worldwide initiatives and product launches as well as subsidiary (UK) and Audience team fiscal year priorities.
2. Timelines: Responsible for managing work back schedules.
3. Financial Management: Ability to manage large budget independently adhering to all financial policies, achieving 100% accuracy and accurate cost reconciliation
4. Systems and Tools: Responsible for entering and updating tactics working with agency to ensure accuracy of financial forecasting, budget management, cost reconciliation and campaign performance as well as managing timelines.
5. Reference Materials: Responsible for accuracy and maintenance of all campaign historical documents: briefs, histories, production guidelines and samples, research material, test histories.
6. Campaign Analytics: Analyse and measure campaign results and performance to achieve campaign in market optimisation and build recommendations for future campaigns including the development of campaign scorecards and present a post campaign analysis.
7. Agency Relationships: Development of strong, long-term relationships with agencies to ensure executional excellence and the achievement of campaign objectives with an appropriate return on investment. Driving collaboration across the relationship marketing, paid media, social media, SEA and SEO agencies by establishing status meetings, campaign timelines, budget and scope of work for each campaign.
8. Marketing Communications Global Connection: Maintaining key relationships with corporate peers in order to keep up-to-date on global communications programs and best practices.
9. Marketing Advisor: Building relationships with their internal stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor providing strategies that will drive business results.
10. Marketing Communications Excellence: Ensure that the customer is at the heart of all campaigns and think like a customer. Ensure that the cone of communications is relevant to the customer and the UK market. Determine the right mix of paid, owned and earned tactics and create a balance of tried and tested with innovation.
11. Marketing Communications Efficiency and Effectiveness: Contribute to the refinement of the marketing communications process
12. Brand and Legal Advocate: Coordinate approvals with legal team including the research of trademarks and copyrights and adherence to brand guidelines.
