Marketing Communications Manager- w/ SharePoint

A small marketing team at a large financial services company is looking for a Marketing Communications Manager - SharePoint Administrator to plan and implement a variety of customer-centric marketing programs and services to all team members across the enterprise.

This is an onsite role based in San Francisco - 40 hours/week.
6-9months + with potential to extend

The main job duties involve: leading planning and execution of programs and services, participates with senior management of the respective area of responsibility in development of strategy/plans to drive brand awareness. Collaborating with product marketing managers to define projects / goals, design the appropriate marketing and communication solution. Writing and creating internal marketing communications and coordinates multi-level content review and approval processes.

Specific tasks include, but not limited to:

-Manage a team member marketing site, published on Sharepoint. Responsible for creating and publishing online content using a variety of content management systems . Work closely with product/marketing managers to plan for content updates, consult with product/marketing managers, liaison with the Portal team to develop new pages, write content and coordinate approvals (including legal and compliance) with product teams and publish the new content to the site. Periodic reporting of site traffic through available site metrics.

-Consult with product teams to understand their year round strategy to market to team members, consult on effective communication methods that support their goals, document and track communication deliverables in detailed timelines and a comprehensive calendar, liaison with internal communications to develop the communications, manage the review and approval process with product teams and manage deliverables so they are on time and align to the original communications strategy.

-Create and publish online financial education quizzes on a Sharepoint site. Identify topics, source material and draft questions and answers. Manage review and approvals with SMEs, edit final quiz to be accurate and grammatically correct, publish and track and analyze results.

-Work with in house creative agency to consistently create graphics and other creative elements to keep the site fresh.

Minimum qualifications
-Experience with SharePoint 2010 and/or higher and basic knowledge of HTML
-Hands on experience staging, testing, and deploying (publishing) online content using a variety of content management systems. Familiarity with Open Text and SharePoint necessary.
-6+ years’ experience in marketing implementation with an additional 3+ years’ experience in project management or implementation.
-Experience writing presentations and communication materials.
-Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
-Self-starter with demonstrated relationship building and collaboration skills
-Strong influencing skills and flexibility to manage projects in an ambiguous environment.
-Self-directed, ability to drive and lead communication initiatives.
-Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
-Highly effective communication skills.
-Experience working in financial services is strongly preferred.
