Our Fortune 500 client, a leader in banking, is seeking a driven Marketing Communications Coordinator to join their Marketing team for a 12 + month contract and this role can sit in either Pennington, NJ or Manhattan, NYC. This Marketing Communications Coordinator opportunity is 40 hours a week, health benefits and 401K are offered.

This role is within the Banking Marketing team supporting communications efforts across a number of banking and lending solutions and capabilities. The successful Marketing Communications Coordinator candidate must have excellent writing and editing skills. A significant portion of this role is focused on managing a number of processes related to the successful development and delivery of banking communications (including submitting and obtaining approval across a number of entities and internal systems). Excellent organizational and communication skills are a must. 

Specific responsibilities include: 
• Editing client and internal operational and servicing communications 
• Writing marketing messages 
• Managing editorial production schedules and calendars 
• Managing the end-to-end complex communications review and approval processes (stakeholder and forum reviews, brand, legal, compliance, etc.) and adherence to brand guidelines 
• Publishing / submitting approved communications across various enterprise channels 
• Maintaining reports and calendars to reflect the title, status and other details of all communications in flight 
• Working with manager and business partners to ensure all communications are accurate, optimally positioned, engaging and delivered on time 
• Other duties as assigned 

Required Skills for the Marketing Communications Coordinator: 
- Three to five years’ experience in marketing or communications, preferably for a financial institution 
- Must be detail-oriented, with demonstrated project management experience, strong organizational and problem-solving skills 
- The ability to manage aggressive deadlines, complex approval processes, and multiple projects at once 
- Excellent attention to detail and writing skills with the ability to understand and present complex concepts in clear language 
- An understanding of basic programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat and a willingness to learn new systems and technologies 
- Familiarity with internal systems such as MRC is a bonus 
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate with others and adapt to change 
- Experience working in a complex organization
