One of our valued Fortune 500 clients in NYC is looking for an professional and accomplished Marketing Communications Specialist who knows a thing or two about public relations. This is a 4 month freelance project, onsite, 40 hours week.

Responsibilities:
• The Communications Specialist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of a high-impact, fully integrated investments focused media and communication program that reaches external audiences.
• This individual will collaborate with communications colleagues globally across the corporation as well as marketing and retail business executives
• Execute a communications strategy that amplifies the profile of key investment executives and strategists with top tier and trade press, and broadcast media outlets, while protecting and promoting the firm's reputation.
• In addition, this individual will be responsible for managing social media efforts on behalf of the Corporate Communications team and help deliver the firm's objectives by leveraging relevant social media platforms.

Skills:
• Support the development and execution of overall strategic media relations programs focused on strategic business initiatives , while contributing to the broader goals and positioning of the Firm.
• Manage PR efforts and successfully execute PR programs for investment teams across asset classes at the Firm, including proactive efforts around key market / economic market events, new product launches and issues management. This includes supporting priority products and themes, identifying opportunities for investment executives in industry trend stories / features and maintaining oversight of regular broadcast interviews.
• Identify content across businesses to support media relations efforts from a Corporate Communications standpoint and partner with social media teams to ensure efforts are closely aligned
• Partner closely with colleagues in global marketing to ensure alignment of all marketing, public relations and ongoing communications efforts.
• Develop press materials as needed including press releases, strategic messaging, talking points and Q&A's; oversee media training and media support to executives ; supervise relevant media tracking and overall program measurement
