Marketing Communication Strategist

We are seeking a Marketing Communications consultant for a 4-6 week project. We need a strong writer to work with a Provider Experience team to help them synthesize a variety of strategies, programs, objectives and initiatives to align them into a plan that can be executed by their in-house Creative team. The Marketing Communications Plan deliverable for this exercise will be prescriptive in nature – able to be leveraged and referenced downstream into various communications pieces and creative briefs. The consultant would work closely with the hiring manager and her team, as well as business owners/subject matter experts to gather and organize the content but would be primarily responsible for developing the structure and plan itself based on the communication objectives and content matter itself. The person will also have some editing responsibilities, as needed. We are expecting that the work would be part-time, but could vary (20-30 hours/week). Timing for start would be immediate, and work would continue, as needed, to be able to plot out all marketing needs.

Keys to this role:

• Delivering clear, concise and prioritized marketing communications plan that incorporated all the nuances of the team’s work to leadership for review
• Interviewing internal and external subject matter experts to develop content for Marketing Communications plan
• Working closely with internal communications team and other writers
• Structuring communications to simplify complex issues into easily understandable concepts and identifying appropriate tactical details for Creative team focus
• Follow up in a timely manner with stakeholders, and using appropriate assertiveness to balance needs of business with the ability to execute
