Marketing Communication Consultant (Puerto Rico Market)

Our Fortune 500 financial service and investment client is in need of a Marketing & Communications consulting talent to manage, write and edit regulatory notices and mailings, stand-alone letters, statement inserts, splash pages and messages, statement bulletin board messages.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the approval process for the above mentioned deliverable including the coordination with Wealth Management management, Puerto Rico Product Managers, Legal/Compliance and Media Relations
• Manage the process with external print vendor for client mailings, coordinating proofs/reviews/approvals with Puerto Rico team, acting as point person for vendor inquiries on mailings
• Draft internal notices to alert Financial Advisors of upcoming client mailings as needed
• Secure Statement Inserts and Bulletin Board Messages by coordinating with Client Reporting/ Statements team
• Support for crisis/issues management issues that require quick turnaround time to include management talking points, internal/FA talking points and FAQs, and client-facing pieces
• Manage translation services for client-facing documents
• Act as a liaison between Puerto Rico and Marketing to ensure Marketing materials include Puerto Rico disclosures
• Ensure Puerto Rico Marketing strategy is aligned with firm strategy and PR regulations
• Act as point of contact for all Puerto Rico Marketing needs in order to prioritize and execute

Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, keen listener, problem solver
• Strong marketing acumen
• Highly-professional demeanor; solid customer service skills; attention to details
• Able to operate in a fast paced, dynamic marketing environment
• Ability to multi-task in a high pressure, deadline driven environment
• Team player who is self motivated and takes ownership of projects
• Understanding of Financial Advisors business model preferred; financial Services industry experience preferred

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree (strong academic performance and internships); 3-5 years marketing experience
• Read/Writing/Speaking in Spanish is a BIG plus but not required
• Basic understanding of financial services and an understanding of Advisory Business Model/Financial Advisors
• Microsoft Office Suite
