Marketing Communications Coordinator

***MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE AT ST. LOUIS OFFICE***

Responsible for assisting in facilitating all steps of small, less complex marketing communication (Marcom) project workflows.

Works with design, creative, and traffic teams to facilitate projects through all stages (research, design, writing, proofreading, review, printing, mailing and archival) to ensure that the end product is produced in a timely, accurate, and effective manner. Acts as primary client interface and collaborates with business partners and SMEs on projects. Coordinates proofreading of copy, and reviews all changes between the creative team and business partners to ensure materials meet guidelines. Assists in facilitating the workflow process: creates production schedules, assigns form numbers, requests source files, obtains required approvals, coordinates the production process of materials, monitors performance, and recommends improvements. Manages workflow tasks and monitors project status in appropriate system(s). Maintains departmental budgets.

• Recommends and escalates marketing issues and solutions to Marketing Team and Project Lead, in a timely manner.
• Maintains project spreadsheets, calendars and databases to keep track of project details.
• Schedules project meetings with business partners, as requested.
• Supports Project Lead and Marketing Team with workflow processes and is responsible for tracking down and archiving answers to questions to ensure consistency and standardization on all materials.
• Detailed and organized individual needed with eye for editing and proofreading.
• Seeking individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills who welcomes teamwork, collaboration and close relationship to Project Lead and Marketing Team.
• Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Adobe Acrobat.
• ***Sharepoint or dashboard experience a plus.***
• Works well under pressure.
• Possesses great ability to capture details and takes thorough notes.
• ***Prior health care industry experience and process management skills preferred.***


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Requires a BA/BS degree; 1 year of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Prior health care industry experience and project/process management skills preferred.
