Marketing Campaigns Coordinator

Aquent's client, a Fortune 500 multi-national tech company in Toronto, is looking for a Marketing Campaigns Specialist to support the Canadian field marketing team for 14+ months. The client's products are engineered for security, reliability and scalability, running the full stack from infrastructure to applications to devices and hardware. 15% domestic travel is required.

Overall Responsibilities: 

  • Development and execution of field marketing campaigns to generate leads and opportunities 
  • Managing sponsorship and 3rd party event execution, including on-the-day logistics and staffing for the event 
  • Assist with development of messaging and creative, based on research and insights 
  • Create proposals to secure speaking opportunities, write abstracts, develop related presentations, customer stories, support for pitching and media relations 
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to scale programs 
  • Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders and partners to maximize results 
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to scale programs 


Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: 

  • Drive execution of local programs: manage events, define brand presence at trade shows and scale programs across the region 
  • Project managing all aspects of campaign execution, event production, content and budget management 
  • Tracking, analyzing and reporting on results and impact of marketing activities 


Required Skills: 

  • 3-5+ years of B2B technology experience, ideally marketing communications with special expertise creating executing campaigns 
  • Bachelor’s Degree with any field (Associates with 5+ years experience) 
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce.com or similar) and marketing automation tools (Marketo or similar) and tracking tools to assess campaign effectiveness 
  • Excellent people skills and communication skills 
  • Strong writing and content development expertise 
  • Drive execution of local programs: manage events, define brand presence at trade shows and scale programs across the region 


Nice to have Skills (not required): 

  • French language skills 
  • Experience defining successful enterprise software acquisition programs for large accounts is a plus 
  • Ability to create effective relationships, influence and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels. 
  • Specific execution and logistics: AV production, vendor management, logistics, invitations, catering, security, transportation, speaker travel logistics, evening events, signage/shipping 
  • Project management skills including: managing agencies, vendors and global projects. 
  • Proficient in MS Office / Google Docs 
  • Distinctive problem-solving, strategic and analytical capabilities with a strong track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics.
