Marketing Automation Specialist

Our client is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist for a four month contract!

The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for bridging the gap between our best in breed marketing automation platform Oracle Marketing Cloud (OMC)/Eloqua and our internal business/client management system, (SFDC).

The ideal candidate for this role will poses a strong applied technology background along with an advanced understanding of digital marketing. The Marketing Automation Specialist will have objectives within three business functions; lead generation, lead nurturing, and analytics and reporting.

Essential Skills:

- To own administrative responsibilities within marketing automation platform OMC/Eloqua
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and demand center strategies
- Intermediate or Expert SFDC CRM administrative skills
- Understand API integrations with CMR platforms and web properties
- Be responsible for design, development, and activation of OMC/Eloqua campaigns
- Understand and be able to develop assets associated to campaign execution; form development, landing page design, email assets, etc.
- Need to understand more complex business objectives such as lead scoring, system integrations between SFDC CRM and Eloqua, data normalization and engagement strategies

Lead Generation:

- In conjunction with the SFDC team, the Marketing Automation Specialist will be responsible for driving data accuracy, completeness and normalization strategies within data files in OMC/Eloqua
- Need to have a strong understand of data manipulation, segment building, and leveraging custom objects to create timely end to end campaigns (planning, targeting, & reporting).

Lead Nurturing:

- Work with sales, marketing, and various stakeholders to optimize our lead scoring criteria within SFDC to validate a lead’s quality to better support sales.
- Work with marketing stakeholders to create lead nurture programs within Eloqua that will create greater velocity through the sales pipeline.
- Assist marketing stakeholders with customer contact strategies to deepen the customer relationship and increase sales opportunities and then execute on these campaigns.

Analytics & Reporting:

- Holistically evaluate the entire marketing and sales integrated funnel and be able to provide closed loop reporting that measures marketing programs at a micro and macro capacity
- Produce weekly/monthly reports and dashboards that demonstrate campaign progress. Key performance indicated (KPI’s) include campaign to revenue goals, pipeline, engagement, digital contact body language and buying signal analysis, and revenue attainment and future projections.

Required Experience; Professional Designation/Certifications:
- Business degree
- 2-5 years’ experience in a Marketing Specialist role
- Experience in digital or social strategies
- Experience in working with external best practice marketing organizations and consulting agencies
- Experience with tools such SFDC and Eloqua
- Familiarity with healthcare, compliance, or disposal service organizations an asset
