Marketing Associate

Urgent Need! As Marketing Associate, you will help strategically position the brand throughout the financial services marketplace. Specifically, you will be part of a team that helps raise awareness of audit, advisory, and tax services. This role will be for approximately 7-9 months with potential to extend beyond this time period.

You will play a crucial role in helping meet go-to-market objectives and achieve revenue goals by assisting in the creation, implementation and evaluation of a wide range of marketing and communications activities, including the development and distribution of thought leadership and media relations, event development and management, and the use of digital and social media marketing.

• Work as part of a team that collaborates with leaders to develop market-facing initiatives that help drive overall strategy around key business issues our clients face
• Co-develop the concepts and content of marketing and communications programs in alignment with a tax service line strategy
• Collaborate with leadership to identify buyers’ needs and wants, then assist in the development of corresponding marketing and communication campaigns
• Assist marketing lead with development of annual marketing strategy and implementation of campaigns
• Effectively manage multiple concurrent marketing initiatives
• Work independently to resolve challenges while maintaining an active dialogue with all stakeholders
• Create thought leadership and marketing collateral, working closely with subject matter experts and manage the distribution externally and internally, utilizing multiple formats and channels as appropriate
• Develop and execute effective programs and coordinate industry event participation and sponsorships
• Collaborate with other professionals throughout the organization
• Track the effectiveness of overall marketing campaigns and individual initiatives

• Proven track record of success in a large, global and highly-matrixed enterprise – ideally in the professional and/or financial services industry
• Understanding of advanced marketing and communication principles and preferably, exposure to financial industry marketplace issues
• Solid understanding of go-to-market and sales processes in a complex organization
• Ability to work independently, as well as in virtual teams
• Strong project management skills and proficiency at effectively managing multiple complex and time-sensitive projects
• Demonstrated ability to interface with senior management and team
• Proven talent at building relationships and influencing without authority
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the talent to translate complex technical concepts to compelling marketing messages
• A portion of this role involves creating time-sensitive materials for clients (internal and external) and programs in a fast-paced, efficient time management and prioritization skills are essential and extended hours are often required
• Responsibility to adhere to internal reporting requirements and risk management protocols

• Ideally 4-7 years of marketing and communications experience, with banking industry and/or professional services experience preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree, preferably with a marketing or communications major. An MBA is a plus.

• Work onsite in New York, NY
• Must pass Background Check prior to starting assignment
• 40 Hours with some overtime required as you are preparing materials for internal and external clients
