Job Title: Marketing Associate 
Hours: Full-time/ 40hours week 

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Marketing Associate serves as an integral team member to help meet our business goals. This position supports the development and execution of the annual and strategic plans including product innovation, creative development, media support, volume/profit targets, and trade promotional strategies. 
Serves as a key team member on the cross-functional team with a focus on supporting the sales force, logistics and supply chain teams, and analytical and project support for Associate Marketing Managers. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Supports the development and execution of the annual plan. 
2. Assist with P&L management and analysis of business performance through Nielsen analysis 
3. Assist with compiling monthly category reviews. 
4. Track and manage marketing budget. 
5. Project management of key business initiatives, including timeline management and project support. 
6. Continually develop professional and personal skills in areas of marketing, leadership, and communication. 
7. Develop and leverage a working knowledge of the industry, category and competitors. 
8. Performs other projects or activities as assigned. 


SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

1. Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing-related discipline. 
2. 2 years of experience in food or consumer packaged goods marketing preferred. 
3. Solid experience with project management and exposure to new product development and execution. 
4. Sound analytical skills with experience developing insights and recommendations. 
5. Strong ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing 
6. Ability to work cross-functionally across the organization with all levels of management. 
7. A passion for understanding consumer behavior and turning insights into action. 
8. Experience in analyzing sales information and developing/executing recommendations based on findings. 
9. Microsoft Office computer skills and Nielsen or IRI data software knowledge/experience
