Marketing Assistant Director

Temporary Marketing Assistant Director. 5-6 month temporary assignment. Helping to strategically position brand and go-to-market initiatives within the financial services marketplace. Work with team to raise knowledge of company’s know-how in audit, advisory, tax and transaction services. Implements programs tied to banking and capital markets, insurance and wealth and asset management sectors. Coordinate diverse marketing and communications activities.

While part of a larger team, this go-to-market position leads the development and implementation of marketing strategy and supporting initiatives. Will also work independently on certain activities, receiving guidance rather than direct supervision. Help clients rethink how to design, position and manage technology. Achievement in this role will be the delivery of comprehensive, world-class marketing and communications programs that deliver sustainable, measurable results. Some writing will be required.

• Develop and drive integrated marketing and communications programs that align with business issues and the practice’s overall strategy
• Adjust marketing and communications programs based on effectiveness, manage the program’s annual budget, track the return on investment (ROI) of activities and provide reports and status updates
• Work with an anchor service line or industry practice, to develop tailored marketing plans
• Assist with the delivery of an integrated go-to-market marketing strategy and plan across markets served
• Effectively project manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Supervise and manage the development and distribution of thought leadership and coordinate the creation of marketing collateral including brochures
• Develop and execute effective proprietary and industry events’ programs
• Provide strong leadership in coordination with peers to drive performance goals of delivering stakeholder value, quality and operational efficiency

• Understanding of advanced marketing and communication principles, and exposure to IT and data marketplace issues, ideally within financial services
• Strong project management skills and proficiency at effectively managing multiple, complex and time-sensitive projects
• Proven talent at building relationships and influencing without authority to gain support and commitment from others
• Adept at effectively interfacing with senior leadership and navigating a management structure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate innovative thinking and follow through to action

• Bachelor's degree, with a Marketing or Communication major; MBA preferred
• Minimum 7+ years professional experience
• Deep project management skills

• Background with Accounting and/or Architectural Firm
• Experience with Consulting or Professional Services Firm
• Experience with Marketing Campaigns and implementation of Strategic Campaigns
• Thought leadership
• Digital and Social Media
• PR experience is big plus

• Must pass Background Check prior to starting assignment
• Long hours are required as you are preparing materials for internal and external clients
