Marketing Assistant

We have a small team, with a lot of autonomy, and a very direct connection to sales results.
We are looking for a great Marketing Assistant who is accountable, attentive to detail, and results focused. Someone who knows the retail space well (preferably has experience in retail marketing), and someone who has expertise in visual merchandising. And someone who is great at collaboration – across teams and with partners.

The new Marketing Assistant will:
• Develop Account Level Marketing and Merchandising Plans
• Work with Category Marketing on Quarterly Marketing Programs
• Oversee online marketing execution and social media plans
• Work with partners and agencies to design and execute integrated marketing campaigns to increase Hardware Attach sales.
• Build end-to-end implementation plans for retailer marketing activities, including goals and objectives, target audience, call to action, budget, measurement criteria, partner engagement approach, and sales readiness, and conducts and documents postmortems.
• Own account collaboration, execution and integration between category management, sales and internal support teams (visual merch, field merch & training) to drive retail programs and execution around in-store presence, training, promotions, demo, and events.
• Own the presence, engagement points and retail environment in-store and online.
• Appropriately prioritize and obtain the required agreements, investments or resources on key channel objectives to successfully implement corporate marketing strategies, plans, or programs.
• Develop close working relationships with the account managers, category managers, retail services, partners, and most importantly the retailers in order to achieve positive
business results and "win-win" outcomes.

Requirements:
• Excellent Presentation skills
• Experience in advertising, consumer electronics, product marketing, direct marketing, marketing program management, partner management or consulting
• Relevant channel or category retail experience.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate & implement multiple projects.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to effectively influence others in multiple groups
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations, plus experience piloting & scaling efforts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to simplify & summarize effectively.
• Proven analytical experience with ROI, sales, trend analysis, plan-o-grams, online and in-store metrics
• Proven history of delivering excellent results.
• 5-7 year’s work experience.
• BA required; MBA preferred.
