Our client is a large financial institution in Pennington, NJ and they are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their Marketing Team for a 12 to 18 month contract role. This Marketing Assistant job is 40 hours a week, health benefits and 401K offered.
The Marketing Assistant will coordinate and assist with the marketing activities of the Retirement Services Department. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for reviewing marketing material through the internal review process and posting to internal spreadsheets and websites as necessary and will average 300- 400 pieces per year. The Marketing Assistant will also coordinate and assist with all marketing support for other retirement products and projetcs which may include advertising collateral, development and distribution, and annual update of sales resources. The Marketing Assistant must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Marketing field. With minimal supervision, the Marketing Assistant should be able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Marketing Assistant will perform a variety of tasks simultaneously, will work well under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required for this Marketing Assistant role.
Requirements for Marketing Assistant:
1. 2-4 years of experience in the Retirement Services field a plus
2. Proficient with Adobe Acrobat Professional, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Outlook
3. Highly organized and ability to work independently
4. Excellent attention to detail
4. Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communications
