Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a Marketing & Advertising Coordinator for our e-commerce retail client who will be responsible for providing strategic analysis and insight on campaign delivery and management to predict the most effective means to reach the hourly population by geographic area and employee-type and work closely with key stakeholders across the organization supporting initiatives to simplify hourly staffing.

Responsibilities Include

· Design and execution of marketing and advertising programs, external communications, email campaigns, employee brand materials, etc.
· Drive traffic to websites using a variety of methods
· Create and send email communication to potential candidates and current applicants using the talent community and mass-communication platforms
· Ensure content appears high on search rankings
· Develop density of desired keywords on page
· Develop pay-per-click advertising campaigns and internet ads
· Establish an effective presence on social media sites
· Work with stakeholders in analyzing product information, advertising history, needs, etc to provide appropriate marketing assistance to develop the strategies for design and execution
· Execute and monitor the recruitment advertising projects within approved budget and timelines
· Evaluate advertising projects for sourcing and recruiting effectiveness

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as Marketing, Advertising and/or Communication
· 2+ years in marketing/advertising industry including ecommerce
· Strong technical skills including expertise in Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications

· Impeccable customer service with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations
· Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
· Great organizational skills and attention to detail; are able to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and effectively communicate information to internal and external customers who are both technical and non-technical
· Ability to identify and resolve issues independently in a rapidly changing environment; taking initiative in ambiguous circumstances
· Robust sense of accountability and sound personal judgment with the capacity to handle confidential information and escalate issues effectively
· Proactive and forward-thinking with creative problem-solving ability
