Marketing Assistant

As the Marketing Specialist, you will support the College Campus team with this large online organization as a leading destination for students and ensuring an aligned and effective customer acquisition and engagement strategy. You will manage campaigns across on and offline marketing channels, track marketing spend, and support A/B testing.

The successful candidate will leverage CMS and HTML experience, proven marketing savvy, and a keen eye for detail to develop, launch, test, and report on campaigns to drive awareness, acquisition, and engagement. The ability to manage multiple milestones in a fast-moving environment, while keeping senior stakeholders updated on your progress, is critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Build and manage digital marketing campaigns, tracking tasks and dependencies across multiple teams
Execute A/B tests, report on campaign performance, and make campaign adjustments to maximize results
Track marketing spend and provide monthly budget reporting

Basic Qualifications:

3+ years experience in on/offline marketing
Excellent writing and editing skills
Ability to edit basic HTML and XML
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven ability to create customer-facing content that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to a student audience
Experience with customer segmentation and targeting
Proficiency with web analytics tools
Experience with A/B or multivariate testing
Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
Excellent documentation and workflow management skills

Project Description - Standard work hours, Mon - Fri. Must sit onsite in Seattle. The organization has launched 10 staffed physical locations on college campuses where students can pick-up textbooks that they have ordered online. This position will help support the increased back-to-school flow. Please see "Responsibilities" on JD for more details.

Must Haves: Candidate must be able to work independently and have at least 2-3+ years of professional marketing experience.

Nice to Haves: Prior marketing experience in retail industry, but not required.

Experience working with Symphony Content Management System would be a plus.

Duration of Assignment - 2 month contract. Extension/conversion not possible at this time.

Interview Process - Phone screen followed by 1 hour onsite interview.
