Marketing Assistant

Our larger Fortune 500 client is seeking a Marketing Assistant to work with them on a contract basis and play a key role in the smooth operation of their Arizona Marketing Team and the attainment of its goals. This role will work closely and collaboratively with the Arizona Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), local marketing leaders and cross-functional partners - and will be responsible for providing business administrative support for marketing activities for all lines of their business.
This position is a good match for an experienced executive-level marketing administrative candidate who is highly organized and efficient, project execution and detail oriented by nature, and enjoys enabling The Team with the tools and support required to be successful.
The ideal candidate has superior organizational and time management skills, works effectively in a highly complex and dynamic environment, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, understands personality dynamics and works collaboratively with all members of the team, is comfortable in a large matrixed organization, can easily take direction and run with it, and has a positive, “can do” attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborating with CMO and local marketing leadership, you will be responsible for marketing administrative support, including but not limited to, the following:
Administrative
• Coordinate all logistics for meetings and conferences including; creating agendas, venue arrangements, developing Power Point presentations, taking and distributing meeting notes and following up on action items
• Compiling and formatting marketing and communication strategic plans into a single, comprehensive document and making updates as needed
• Maintain and distribute Marketing score card document that tracks progress of annual Marketing strategic plans
• Assist with the preparation of company presentations
• Maintain the Arizona Marketing activity calendar and related timelines
• Update Marketing Monthly Operational Report (MOR)
• Monthly reconciliation of Marketing budget to annual plan
• Assist with writing and proofreading of Marketing materials
• Handle specific administrative projects and tasks as assigned

Marketing Operations
• Support implementation of marketing and communication programs across lines of business
• Establish systems and processes to create efficiencies within the AZ Marketing organization
• Additional discrete projects and initiatives as required
