Marketing Analytics Manager - Orem UT

The Marketing Analytics Manager supports creation of the Digital Marketing Insight program and delivery of Strategic Value Assessments (SVAs). The managers primary role is help build the Digital Marketing Insights program by analyzing web analytics data, building database and data taxonomies, and managing projects related to the development of this program. The Analyst also researches applicable digital marketing benchmarks from public sources to support teams conducting strategic value assessments.

Responsibilities
• Analyze anonymous web site transaction and behavioral data to identify trends, insights, and other facts about how consumers behave online.
• Create data sets in Excel, Axis, or online tools for analysis of web analytics data.
• Serve as a project manager for projects that support the overall Digital Marketing Insights program.
• Help Industry Marketing managers research benchmarks for SVA presentations and team discussions.
• Communicate benchmarks and industry insights via reports, PowerPoint slides and other collateral to support Sales and Marketing objectives.
Requirements
• Undergraduate business degree from leading business school program. Concentration in Marketing, Finance, Strategy, Statistics, Engineering, or other analytically-oriented discipline strongly preferred. MBA preferred.
• 3-5 years overall work experience in web analytics, market research, management consulting, statistics, finance, or other analytical discipline.
• Familiarity with digital/online marketing, including use of leading analytical tools (e.g. Adobe Site Catalyst) or comparable web analytics program.
• Experience assembling and analyzing information to find insights, forming a story/point of view supported by data, and then presenting findings graphically for research reports and executive communications.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct creative and effective analysis with little supervision.
• Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Expertise in using Excel Pivot tables, look-up and reference formulas, and database management.
• Proactive, resourceful approach to solving problems and getting results. Confident under pressure.
