Marketing Analytics - Sr. Manager

Our top retail and real estate development client is looking for a passionate, data-driven and technically-savvy marketing analytics expert that will lead the development and execution of fact-based reporting, testing strategies, analysis and analytical models used to enhance decision making across the marketing organization, improve performance and enable a data-drive culture. The manager will apply domain expertise in information processing and analytics including predictive modeling, web analytics, customer insights, data visualization, business intelligence tools, and social media measurement and monitoring tools to develop executive dashboards, standardized reports, insights and prescriptive actions to marketing stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and optimization.

Specifically this position is responsible for:

• Creating a suite of operational metrics and defining and implementing a framework for measuring, reporting and analyzing marketing results to assess and track the impact of marketing vehicles (offers/promotions, advertising, coupons, etc.) to achieve growth, revenue and ROI goals;
• Leading the development of integrated measurement across all marketing programs;
• Leveraging our Web Analytics Tool (Adobe Analytics), CRM Platform (Silverpop), Social Measuring
Tool (Adobe Social) and customer data warehouse to develop aggregate quarterly and monthly performance and insight reports/dashboards to marketing stakeholders;
• Creating or managing agency resources to create advanced and predictive models such as marketing mix, propensity to buy, next best offer, customer lifetime value (LTV), at-risk, and advance targeting/look-a-like models, then assisting marketing teams in using these models to adjust their tactical mixes;
• Collaborating with inbound and outbound digital demand team and marketing teams to identify, recommend and provide specific customer and prospect segmentation, test plans, trend analysis and database queries to create and optimize customer acquisition, nurture and advocacy programs;
• Leading the development, implementation and optimization of testing and targeting programs leveraging Adobe Test & Target and other analytics and testing tools;
• Leading all aspects of project work including collection of data (internal and syndicated sources), model development and execution, interpretation of model results, and engaging key business stakeholders;

Required Skills and Experience
• 9+ years experience in digital analytics, segmentation, business intelligence, and reporting.
• Comprehensive knowledge or experience in statistical analysis and modeling, including building, interpreting and diagnosing data models in the marketing environment.
• Multi-year experience with marketing analytics to drive customer acquisition, purchase cycle management and retention.
• Proven experience establishing effective testing, measurement and reporting programs that deliver insights to business partners enabling them to make informed decisions that increase program effectiveness.
• BI Tool experience for developing and automating reports.
• Strong competency and experience with developing and evolving marketing dashboards and reports.
• Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (Silverpop, Salesforce.com, or equivalent); web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or equivalent), testing and targeting tools (Adobe Test & Target, etc.) and social measurement platforms (Adobe Social or equivalent).
• Proven experience scoping and documenting business and program requirements, time estimates for delivery and resource needs working closely with business partners and IT, and overseeing cross-functional teams to deliver against those requirements.
• Knowledge of campaign testing strategies utilized in direct online channels, including email, web and mobile campaign testing strategies utilized in direct online channels.
• Experience with web testing and targeting/personalization a plus.
• Experience working with big data and datasets a plus.
• Proficiency in the use of computer programs and programming languages, such as SAS, SQL, R, Cognos, Oracle or SAP, in order to manipulate data a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts in ways that marketing leaders and other functions will understand.
• Exceptional written and oral communications skills. Strong interpersonal skills well-developed organizational skills.
• Extensive experience creating compelling business cases and selling those into executive management teams.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and vendors to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment.
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically.
• Academic background in analytics, statistics, marketing, technology, business, or related field. Undergraduate college degree or equivalent experience minimum, MBA a plus.
