Team: Flex Analytics team, an analytics team focusing on longer-term, strategic and technical initiatives for global growth. Global Growth is our global marketing team, and we support all channels within it- email, paid search, affiliates, etc. We are not dedicated to any given channel but work to grow all of them, sometimes because it’s a longer term strategic project, or because we have a specific skillset that’s needed. Projects that have come up include things like exploring API’s and bidding, building random forest models to anticipate who should receive a coupon, sizing opportunities, and creating an automated testing platform. We do less day-to-day decision support and more longer-term decision support and building data products.
Must have Skills: SQL, Pragmatic Problem solver, Python OR R, Exploration of API
Experience/ Skills for the role: Strong communication skills to work across channels and with stakeholders
Focus on business outcomes and understanding the customer needs, creatively problem solve Experienced with large amounts of data.
Day to Day: Will take on projects that will involve working with multiple teams to problem solve. Will be creative to solve problems and align with stakeholders. 75% of the time will focused on data pulling, cleaning, modeling and some visualization to test the model
