$30/hr

The overall objective of this position is to execute and analyze the promotional programs and customized items at retail providing analytical support and recommendations to the account marketing and sales team.
To be successful in the role you will:
• Ensure an accurate and up to date customer Promotion Tracker Tool
• Complete all formal account analyses and reporting projects and in a timely manner
• Innovate new ways to streamline analysis and reporting of key retailer sales data
• Use in-depth analysis of baseline sales, promotions, seasons and key retail initiatives and make recommendations for more successful promotions in the future

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Perform complex tasks that require in-depth analysis and working theoretical and practical knowledge of account initiatives, promotional planning and/or category management
• Collect, evaluate, and interpret sales and product-flow metrics from a variety of sources
• Develop, present and construct store-level initiatives at key acts
• Contribute to mid-level strategy formulation by informing decision-makers of recent/relevant sales trends
• Evaluate the effectiveness of display strategies using integrated measurement tools
• May provide work leadership or strategic guidance to a project team by offering an assessment of current market conditions and trends
• Coordinate efforts among team members and maintain consistency within broad business plans to shape sales initiatives
• Management of the merchandising ROI tool, including data input, maintenance and post analysis
• Advise Customer Marketing, Sales and Marketing teams on optimal promotional choices
• Report out to Customer Marketing, Sales and Management on status of various promotions and seasonal initiatives

The requirements of this position may change from time to time in accordance with the changing conditions of the business. Therefore, the company requires the incumbent to be flexible and to assume any corresponding changes in responsibilities.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in category management, trade or brand marketing, space planning, consumer research, advertising, sales and/or finance
- Strong quantitative analysis skills
- Strong financial knowledge/business acumen
- Strong MS Word, Power point skills required.
-Excellent MS Excel skills required
- Experience in using and managing account specific data systems preferred
