Our retail client is looking for a marketing analyst responsible for the coordination, implementation and analysis of catalog marketing plans to meet brand objectives for growth and profitability. Execute individual catalog mailing plans
Develop and execute customer acquisition plans to support company and brand growth goals
Select lists to mail; track and evaluate results
Perform analysis and provide feedback to management relating to the performance of mailings and the effectiveness of marketing tests
Monitor and analyze sales performance of individual catalogs
Develop and manage non-catalog customer acquisition programs and partnerships
Manage outside vendors to achieve optimal efficiencies
Verify invoices and expense variances to circulation plan
QC and maintain data feeding database(s). Pull reports and perform ad-hoc analysis
Update and maintain planning tools ensuring data integrity
Exhibit professional conduct in all business relationships, actions and communications
Education, Training and Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing or related field; or equivalent experience which provides required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Aptitude for working with numbers and data
4 years experience in direct marketing and/or circulation analysis preferred
Proficient in PC use and software applications; proficient with Microsoft Excel
Well developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to trouble shoot and identify discrepancies in data
Strong project management skills
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure with changing deadlines and schedules
Database experience desirable
Must have experience managing and coordinating lists for new customer acquisition.
