The Marketing Analyst should have a strong knowledge of Database marketing/management.

• Familiar with Unica or other database marketing access tool. The Marketing Analyst interfaces with clients' member business units to achieve their communication goals. The Marketing Analyst collaborates across internal clients, its affiliates, and with vendors

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Understand and service the database marketing needs of various business units served by MSA (DB Marketing Services & Analysis) (specifically focused on the States) to develop appropriate targeting, test, and measurement strategies, and to roll out and manage ongoing direct response and member communication programs to achieve the specified marketing goals of the respective business unit. Regularly communicate progress against business unit and MSA objectives.
2. Collaborate with the leadership of MSA on direct marketing strategies, data/technology enablers, analytic and reporting enablers, and targeted list needs that use prospect and member data to meet program and revenue goals for internal clients.
3. Use the member and prospect databases to provide targeting, trend and effectiveness analyses to the internal clients, coordinating as appropriate with other internal service organizations. Provide visibility to tools that increase relevance of communications to our members.
4. Use a range of campaign management, and member relationship management technologies to access and analyze member data to execute more targeted and member-relevant communications and promotions, in a timely and high quality manner. Set up and execute campaigns in Unica. Provide Business Intelligence through use of dashboards. Provide input to increase functionality of the membership database, including changes to QC processes to ensure accuracy of the data.
5. Foster teamwork and collaboration with clients to ensure programs are integrated and implemented according to specified plans, and that analytic and infrastructure development needs are prioritized, qualified, tracked and delivered.
6. Responsible for communications with vendors to manage project deliverables, ensure quality control, and optimize their services for the client.
7. Work with technology teams to ensure privacy of member data. Monitor content, access, and timing of access to member names and information.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related field. Masters Degree preferred.
• At least 6 years in a marketing or business environment with experience in direct response, database marketing and, database management.
• Comprehensive experience with marketing initiatives focused around the areas of targeting, campaign analysis, and overlay data.
• Demonstrated proficiency and competency with Excel, word processing, presentation graphics, and relational database software. Must have a strong command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Previous use of campaign management/list selection/BI tools desired. Experience using Unica for campaign management desired.
