Marketing Analyst

Our client is looking for a Marketing Analyst to join their team on a 1 year+ contract.

Responsibilities for this role include:
Analyzing large pools of data to discover trends, patterns, or correlations that will assist marketing directors in making better business decisions. • Employ advanced statistical techniques for analyzing data including regression analysis, time series, decision trees, monte carlo simulations, etc. • Research and develop various modeling approaches, incorporating multiple inputs and modeling techniques. • Perform analytics, special projects and other duties as assigned. • Establish/create clear documentation/governance for the quantitative framework, including statistical methodologies employed for the assumptions underpinning the framework.

Requirements:
• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, decision sciences, mathematics, economics, operations research or similar) with experience in statistical analysis and developing statistical models. • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and techniques. • Experience working with complex large data. • Experience with statistical analysis tools (ex. SAS, R), advanced SQL and MS Excel skills required. • Experience with SAS Enterprise Miner, Treenet or JMP • Skilled at understanding the high-level business questions, objectives, and needs. • Motivated to find the “why" and provide effective and compelling data visualization and summary reporting to support conclusions and recommendations. • Ability to communicate results and key learnings effectively with individuals unfamiliar with subject material.
