Our Fortune 1000 client is growing its world class search marketing team and is looking for an HIGHLY quantitative data analyst to join its Marketing Analytics team. This role will support Brand Marketing team; helping evaluate campaign effectiveness, build KPI dashboards/scorecards and develop media analysis strategy. This position requires strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets. Candidates should have a track record of working in a fast-paced and data-driven environment. experienced analyst, with a passion for online and interested in learning a new marketing field.

What's needed

• Brand Marketing advertisement, radio, you-tube + other mediums. Go out and work with Media resources, GRP, Spots,
• Metrics/Analysis – focus on brand marketing site
o Quantitative, data oriented towards brand.
o How are ads performing
o Are spots working, weak, better performance on certain days
o All analysis by this role.
o Network perspective – TV spots, CBS, Travel
• Where to get more bang for buck
o More scientific to improve numbers
o Crucial role in this arena
• Brand Marketing Team on Target Audience for client?
o Where should the focus be
o Who should we keep in mind
o Who’s the audience for the brand
o Who’s going to be loyal to us
o Marketing Analysis
o Buys/Strategies for future targeting
o Optimize current marketing budget

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Manager of Analytics to provide support on Brand channel performance deep-dives and marketing reporting
- Analyze various marketing initiatives, measure media efficacy and its impact on key business drivers
- Partner with Brand Marketers to plan the evolution of media-buy strategies from Day of week, time of day and spot duration perspective
- Lead efforts to optimize budget and media-mix model across different mediums (TV, Digital Radio and Outdoor)
- Assist in refining campaign execution and performance review strategies Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Required:
- Bachelors Degree (fields of Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics and Business are preferred)
- 2-3 years of experience working with Online Marketing data
- Leverage analytical capabilities to build performance measurement frameworks
- Candidates must have the following skills and knowledge: - Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience utilizing data-mining tool such as SAS, SPSS or R - Comfortable in developing statistical models using Logistic or other regression techniques - Ability to extract and combine data from multiple sources
- High level of intellectual curiosity and focus on generating action-oriented business insights
- Ability to convey complex findings in a clear and compelling way one-to-one, in presentations and over email.

Ideal candidates will have:
- Knowledge of multiple relational database environments like Hadoop, SQL Server, Oracle and DB2 - Experience measuring Television advertisement results
- Experience building marketing mix models
- Experience using and mining raw clickstream data
- Experience in Online Retail or Lodging
