Marketing Analyst

Our client is a marketing consultancy & direct response agency dedicated to advancing philanthropy. An established business who are proud to work with many leading charities and non-profit organisations across Australia and Internationally. They help good causes to develop fundraising strategies to create powerful philanthropic partnerships with donors, with core expertise within targeted direct marketing campaigns, database analysis, loyalty and recognition programs, and multi-channel fundraising appeals.

Key Responsibilities:
Analysing, segmenting and converting information from client databases.
Design and implement data analysis to help target effectively the donors/customers within a database and/or prospect data pool, who are most likely to respond to fundraising appeals.
Preparation of Data planning schedules to show clients how their donor data can be used effectively through multi-personalisation tactics in mail/print/digital communications.
Allocation of response tracking and flags to data, setting up logical run sequences within a campaign, output of data for mail-house laser printing and processing.
Analysis and reporting to monitor fundraising campaign results, post campaign reporting to advise on outcomes of testing, segmentation, $Ask strategies, prospect list performance, with
comparison against Budget/Plan and Previous Years.
Run analysis reports inhouse or externally, with our data analyst service provider/s to achieve the most effective use of the budget allocation for each analysis project and to ensure that
reports are presented in the most effective manner to facilitate understanding by clients.
Prepare specifications for external data analyst services, manage and check outputs, manage conflicting deadlines across multi-projects.
Prepare executive level database analysis reports and summaries, presentation materials and documents, charts, tables etc., as needed to meet project objectives.
Work closely with the Account Service team to maximise the potential for data analysis within existing clients and to acquire new client business.
Assist with the update and extension of the current database analysis offerings and help to develop and implement specialist analytical reports, which measure the performance
of donor & customer relationships, by product, channel, donor segment and engagement stream.

Skills Criteria

The successful talent will bring at least 3 years experience in analysing marketing data, and using data for targeting, segmentation and assessment across a multi channel direct marketing platform, ie mail, phone, online, etc.
Experienced with large customer relationship management and transactional databases output from systems such as Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, etc.
NGO experience ideal.
Advanced skills in data analysis software such as Advanced level Word, MS Excel, MS Access, SPSS. Experienced with SQL and other analysis programming tools.
Clear thinking skills, mature analytical skills, proficient in applying learning gained from one project to the next.
Very high eye for detail and accuracy in formatting and processing data.
Excellent time management skills, able to work to tight deadlines.
Experience in reporting tools and presentations eg: ppt preparations, graphs, charts etc.
