Marketing Analyst

Our medical device client is seeking an analyst to support the primary and secondary Market Research function at the corporate level, including data analysis which supports existing and/or new markets to help maximize short and long-range opportunities for corporate growth.

Responsibilities

Provide support for the Market Research team with both qualitative and quantitative research efforts; Additional responsibilities may include assisting with other marketing projects.
• Supplier set up/E&C/Transparency reporting
• RFP comparisons
• Help with project follow up
• Focus group transcription

Assists in survey development and report generation.
• Design questionnaire, program survey, send out reminders
• Prepare report of findings, as needed
• Maintain survey opt-out email list and provide to Kate Allen

Help build and continually augment an integrated data warehouse of market tracking data.
• Match SDI IDs with external sources (Best hospital lists, Meaningful use)
• Data validation\analytics
• Database maintenance (e.g. update data records and data dictionary)
• Dashboard maintenance/design

Organizes internal and external market research reports in the Market Research library and summarizes research for the Market Research newsletter.
• Upload new reports to the Repository
• Summarize newsletter articles
• Add/remove users of external sources & the Repository

Performs other duties as assigned
• Organize research files (electronic/paper)
• Upload focus group/IDI videos into the Video Center
• Manage SCIP Engage community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business management.
• Minimum of 1-3 years in marketing research and analysis. Experience with a global healthcare company is a bonus.
• Self-starter, must be able to work in a fast paced office environment.
• Proven process orientation and effectiveness.
• Highly proficient at analyzing and interpreting data; able to synthesize information from a variety of sources and translate into effective and actionable reports.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel.
