Marketing Analyst

Our client is a fast-growing and innovative tech start-up, based in central London.

The Role
We’re looking for a driven and proactive Marketing Analyst to join the marketing team and help them understand paid campaign data, social data and website traffic data, in order to identify how they can optimise activity and maximize lead generation.

Our client is focused on driving further awareness and adoption via business partners. They want more businesses to use, acknowledge and implement their idea, hence they must reach specific business targets with the most relevant message in order to pique interest and acquire contact details. By understanding their data better and using analytics to shape strategic and tactical decision making, they can increase time spent with content, and most importantly, sign-ups (which trigger the sales process).

This role will interact primarily with the marketing & business development teams and provide actionable insight, analytical support and reporting across marketing and in conjunction with business development. We're looking for a confident and experienced individual who can produce compelling business cases inclusive of recommendations, with an end-to-end view of the customer journey.

Essential Criteria
• Excellent analytical skills
• Extensive experience with Google Analytics
• An ability to interpret complex information and articulate to non-technical people

• Experience with all the key social platform analytics, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc., including paid media targeting and analysis

• Experience tagging end-to-end customer journeys to track performance of all touch points
• Basic experience with integration of marketing campaign data with Salesforce

• An incredibly sharp mind with the academic or work history to prove it

• Impeccable spoken and written English

• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – and be comfortable working with people at all levels

• At least moderate experience pulling disparate data sources into a dashboard view
• Excellent at making things happen quickly and efficiently
• Extremely tech-savvy
• Ambitious and interested in building a long-term career with us

• Commercially-minded and committed to global social change through business

• Motivated by challenging targets

• An effective collaborator across all functional areas including sales, marketing, product, and operational teams
