Marketing Account Manager/Account Executive

Functioning as an Account Executive would in an agency, the Account Consultant II develops and maintains customer relationships and satisfaction for Form Services. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of work through multiple phases of a project, and is accountable for client interaction and project management during the development, design and delivery process.

Functional Responsibilities:

-Act as the primary point of contact for internal business clients with the Form Services department.
-Lead the project intake process, including development of the Creative Brief on complex design projects.
-Coordinate development and dissemination of all project information, including budgets, timelines and final cost reports. Schedule and lead the presentation of work to clients in partnership with Senior Designers.
-Coordinate the approval process, both internal and with business partners, for complex work.
-Manage project activity and reporting using the department project management system.
-Proactively manage client communications and expectations during the project lifecycle.
-Manage the closure of projects including verifying expense, scrubbing and archiving files according to departmental guidelines.
-Act as a strategic partner for business clients, understanding goals and recommending appropriate creative solutions.
-Partner with Design team leads to ensure creative solutions align with business objectives, visual identity standards and clients brand positioning.
-Plan and lead regular client outreach sessions, gathering actionable feedback on past work and information on upcoming work.
-Following departmental practices, policies and workflow processes related to tracking project work through the accurate and timely recording and reporting of all project assignments.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
No formal supervisory responsibilities, but requires ability to lead and motivate project team members that are not direct reports, as well as providing work direction to lower-level staff members.
Typical Experience and Key Competencies:
7+ years experience in the design and/or agency field.
College degree (BA or BS) in Marketing, Business, Design or related field.
Keen understanding of the industry, the marketplace and client business strategies and goals.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others and maintain positive, productive relationships with clients and the design and multimedia teams.
Deep understanding of the benefits of various communications channels, with the ability to match the channel with the communication need.
Ability to analyze complex situations and prioritize competing needs, while focusing on organizational goals.
Can support Design leads in translating strategy into effective designs, balancing creative solutions, standards and best practices with business goals, budgets and timelines.
Superb project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced, high-volume design environment.
Highly organized with the ability to maintain accurate records.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize according to business imperatives.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal (in-person, phone) and written (email, project specification documentation)
