Marketing Account Manager

Our Fortune 500 Healthcare client is seeking a communication expert responsible for building the messaging supporting the company's network products and medical solutions communications. This is an ongoing contract for the right person. The perfect candidate will collaborate with D2C communication colleagues and work with subject matter experts cross functionally (Brand, Social, Digital, Research and Events & Sponsorships) and with the internal creative partners to develop and execute effective marketing communication strategies. Driving all of this is your amazing ability to support the development of focused, differentiating messaging that will result in the execution of compelling campaigns.

Responsibilities:
• Account Management role that works in close partnership with the Product team and Segment Marketing to ensure timely and flawless delivery of the communications plan.
• Works under the direction of a senior account manager, and provides an impact by understanding the client objectives and recommending new, creative and differentiating marketing communications tactics.
• Responsible for ensuring the timely and effective development and execution of the marketing communications plan(s), working with the senior account manager, internal client contacts, the specialty marketing teams, and/or with outside marketing partners
• Responsible for formulating strategies and tactics that convey the most effective market messaging to target audiences
• Develops creative briefs and partners with internal creative, including obtaining production schedules and budget estimates and working with copywriters, designers, illustrators and creative vendors
• Secures final sign-off from subject-matter experts, project owners and legal/compliance team
• Through collaboration with internal stakeholders, is responsible for ongoing project updates to management and internal clients
• Identifies critical opportunities to communicate to internal audiences and provides editing/review support to ensure consistency of messaging
• Develop smart project proposals, effective creative briefs and drive kickoff meetings
• Help drive effective and efficient production schedules and support established budgets
• Work with Segment Marketing, Product, Pricing, Underwriting and Operations team members to help unlock differentiating market messaging for use in multiple formats
• Continually generate ideas and opportunities to innovate, which can include process, media, tactics, and other ideas intended to improve the company's competitive position in marketing communications
• Evaluate effectiveness of current communication strategies and messaging/tactics and drive change as needed to properly support the channel and the customers
• Partner with Brand to ensure consistency of voice across business advertising/communications and leverage Brand campaigns to support business goals
