Marketing & Social Media Entry-level Associate

Our client is seeking a high-energy, passionate, full-time Marketing & Social Media Entry-level talent. This position is responsible for supporting our B2C and B2B marketing initiatives through internal and external social media channels and maintaining our company's online reputation. This role will work closely with the Marketing Supervisor and marketing team to curate and post content across multiple social platforms, ensuring consistency in voice, and building customer relationships and brand awareness.

***Please take note, this opportunity is for a long-term contract so If you're in school and returning after summer, please do not apply. This is for entry-level post grads or students for are graduating this spring, or if you are attending night school and would have the daytime to work.

Experience with databases and CRM's is a major plus.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintain social media presence and brand reputation by curating and publishing content on platforms including (but not limited to): Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram

• Monitor social media chatter for brand mentions and potential topics/trends of interest to J.D. Power and its followers, responding as needed

• With direction from the marketing supervisor and others, address public facing consumer, client, and prospect concerns expressed on social media

• Help manage a comprehensive social media calendar to engage consumers and business prospects

• Assist marketing team in observing trends, and compiling data across engaged social channels

• Assist in coordination of social coverage for events

• Stay up to date with social trends, behaviors, and content usage

• Help streamline integrating social media into future marketing campaigns



Requirements:

• Has or is pursuing a bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment



Preferred Skills

• Experience with social media management tools and software

• Exposure to social best practices and techniques

• Not afraid to take initiative on projects

• Self-driven, creative, and energetic
