Aquent’s Minneapolis client, a global provider of private and commercial architecture, design engineering and construction services client is looking for an experienced Proposal Coordinator with marketing experience to lead the proposal process in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. This is a high visibility position within the client’s organization and requires strong communication and interpersonal skill. Responsibilities include: Participates in the development of business proposals, presentations and printed qualification materials. Works with different individuals in the department and with consulting staff to gain exposure to various business line and market expertise. Leads/participates in proposal team meetings. Creates tailored project descriptions and new content to showcase our differentiators Creates and produces documents in MS Office Suite or Adobe creative suite that includes Photoshop, InDesign and other applications Maintains basic information (opportunities, projects) in Salesforce.com; may be asked to create Salesforce reports Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience Preferred 3-5 Years proposal experience in an engineering/architectural firm Minimum 2 years proposal experience preferably in an engineering/architectural firm. Communications skills: Ability to convey information, either verbally or nonverbally, through the exchange of thoughts or messages for the purpose of ensuring shared understanding Ability to pick out and synthesize important information and ask appropriate questions to clarify potential and existing issues and problems. Project management skills: Ability to maximize resources and use schedules for the planning and reporting of progress within the project environment. Critical thinking Ability to look at issues from both a broad and detailed perspective, locating errors and logical inconsistencies in cross-disciplinary work. Graphic design Skills: MS Office (proficient) Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) Ability to devise strategies and build visual solutions.
