Marketing and Communications Specialist

This position will work on a key business television sponsorship in the Atlanta area for one our Fortune 500 clients. The audience comprised mainly of C-suite individuals and area business leaders. The project will involve many aspects of public relations, marketing and internal communications. The specialist will help own the overall project plan, write and edit communications of our sponsorship both internally and externally, own and coordinate creative and approval efforts the clients production team, and manage mailing lists and e-campaigns for post-show promotions in CRM and using eDistrabution tool.

Weekly Hours:
30 - 40 plus hours per week

Skills required:
• In-depth knowledge and experience with project management

• Excellent writing and editing skills for internal and external communications

• Experience with CRM tools, e-campaigns & Knowledge of Power Point and Excel,

• Marketing and communications experience with C-suite individuals

Essential functions:
• Owning and Managing overall project plan, with both internal and external components, and responsible for adhering to scope and timelines, delegating certain tasks and ensuring necessary deadlines are met

• Develop and measure marketing and communications Metrics and ROI in coordination with other team members, business development and key stakeholders for reports to key leadership

• Manage marketing lists in CRM and responsible for writing, editing and distributing any communications and content through this channel

• Owns and manages relationship and processes with EY’s internal production team to create videos, gather thought leadership and develop follow up communications in regard to each television show

• Responsible or any logistics around events, roundtables or webcasts that may result from any given television show, and will work closely with business development and meeting and events.

May receive other items to complete outside of project to ensure this sponsorship is made a priority on the BMC team.

Five to ten years of relevant marketing/communications and project Management experience within B2B organizations.
