Marketing & Communications Leader/Manager

This position will provide overall support to the VP, General Manager by leading, driving and executing all Outlet marketing and communications functions.


Primary Responsibilities
• Create first class marketing and promotional strategies to support business objectives
• Work with merchandise team to develop quarterly/annual promotional calendar
• Develop marketing collateral, including table tents, bag stuffers, mailings, and Outlet Store center website postings
• Develop email communication campaigns to promote an event/sale in the stores
• Identify and implement center marketing opportunities such as billboards, directory backs, food court, and commercials
• Act as liaison between stores and public relations department maximizing PR opportunities, while ensuring consistency with branding and brand message
• Manage advertising and promotional budget
• Creates and filters all communications and initiatives to the Outlet Store organization. Develops and executes internal communication strategies that support Restoration Hardware’s business objectives
• Analyses processes, store needs and customer need to revises, develop, and implement store policies and procedures to best serve the needs of the stores, the company and its customers
• Anticipates communication needs. Find creative, quality, timely, relevant and simple solutions to serve them well. Support merchandising, marketing and operational ‘launches’ with high quality information and materials
• Plan and execute key events like, store meetings and conferences, warehouse sale events, and new store openings
• Develop and drive key store recognition, incentive, and reinforcement programs
• Coordinate vendors and manage the store supplies program
• Store communications improvement
• Increase quality of store tools and supplies
• Strengthen recognition, incentive, and reinforcement programs
• Builds store operations programs that deliver ‘First Class’ service to the stores
• Spend time in stores working and listening to the store management teams
• Build strong working relationships with key store leaders
• Collaborates with store leaders and associates on projects
• Delivers quality work on time
• Actively collects store feedback on work

Technical Expertise:
• Demonstrated achievement in leading strategic progress store communications, store operations, and store technology systems
• Evidence of achievement in attracting, developing and retaining talent
• 10-25% travel required
• Fluency in common Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook


Education/Training:
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 3-6 years work experience
